Typesetting, artwork management, prepare packaging design for print, oversee printer proofs, and adhere to brand guidelines.
My Contribution
I worked as a production artist in the labeling and regulatory department. This role was separate from marketing and brand design. I received brand guidelines from the brand managers, and implemented their decisions to a wide variety of product packaging, including bottle labels, information inserts, and product cartons. I then added text received text from regulatory specialists to typeset into the company branding. This often included text with multiple or foreign languages, so attention to detail was key.
